An absolutely fantastic vintage leather wrapped, 4 foot high giraffe with I believe glass eyes and the most adorable look.
With hand painted spots, black hair and hooves.
The hairs are made of a softer leather, therefore flexible.
It stands perfectly on all four legs and all four legs seem in very good condition considering its age with one on the front with a slight bit of movement on the inside of the leather, But with no obvious cracks or damage that I can see.
Being oversized, this is a real eye catcher.
Condition throughout seems to be very good with minor wear here and there but no obvious cracks or breakages or repairs, however, as you can see on the top of his head, one of the pointy bits seems to be more bent in than the other. It seems to be very solid with no movement at all therefore I don’t know whether it is an age related fall or it was made like that.
