VINTAGE BOW-FRAME AMPUTATION SAW
Tensioning mechanism: the central threaded adjuster on the upper bar appears designed to tighten the blade by drawing the frame ends… this would also be how to replace the serrated blade…. ( no spare blade )
All-metal construction: the handle and frame are metal, which is consistent with later surgical instruments designed to be easier to clean and when in use.
As you can see condition is fine but obviously with chrome missing in places and other marks showing its age which I consider beautiful patina.
Blade size 19cm
Overall size, including handle 34cm x 12cm High
This item is for vintage / antique medial collectors only and for adults only.
Not to be used for their original purposes and for display only.
