An extremely unusual and possibly rare TinTin bust, slightly creepy š³
This seems to be an early representation of the famous TinTin carved in wood ( possibly Rosewood ).
I have never come across one like this before. I have bought many carved models of TinTin, often painted and crudely carved, however, never one like this.
TinTin was first created in 1929 and I believe this could be an early example, or possibly folk art.
Unfortunately impossible to date due to no date or makers marks.
Will you ever find another? I highly doubt it.
I did infact purchase this for myself because I am a TinTin fan however, I am also a trader so sometimes I have to let my head rule over my heartā¦.. if he doesnāt sell then this really isnāt a disaster for myself.
