Marionette puppet old man possibly a “gardener”.
The puppet depicts an older man wearing round spectacles, a straw hat, a red top, a brown apron or tunic, and blue checked trousers. He has a painted face, moustache and articulated limbs, operated by strings attached to a wooden control bar.
The strings are not the best but totally fine for display. He has a few knocks on the paintwork but only adds to his character.
Size of the puppet itself is approx 35-37cm
