A fantastic pair of Taxidermy Guineafowl
Extremely unusual looking birds. Personally I think they’re fantastic, just love their little faces…. The speckled feathers are just wonderful.
Displayed on an antique round base from most likely a Victorian Dome, unfortunately no dome anymore… so the base has been repurposed, but the birds themselves are modern mounts.
I was very tempted to keep them for myself, but as always, I can’t keep everything…. “So my partner keeps telling me”
