WW2 US Folding Stretcher
WW2 US Airborne Military Folding Stretcher 1940’s.
This item really excited me, and will no doubt be of great appeal to any militaria enthusiast.
This folding stretcher was acquired in the Normandy region, and, we did in fact see one on display at the Utah Beach museum in Normandy, as seen in photograph with the soldier mannequin.
Who knows, it may have been involved in the Normandy D-Day landings?
There are no obvious “US” stamps, but after research, that is what this appears to be.
